Before you Arrive
Before travelling to Adelaide, please take a few minutes to ensure you have:

- Access the e-Abstract Book
- Downloaded the Conference App
- Starred your favourite presentations
- Packed your presentation on a USB, if presenting presenters
- Packed your poster (AO portrait), if presenting
- Reviewed your workshop and social function bookings
- Checked the Adelaide weather forecast
Venue
The CleanUp 2026 Conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000.

Registration Desk
The Registration desk will be located in the Main Entrance Foyer and will be open as follows:
- Sunday 13 September: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
- Monday 14 September: 7:30am - 5:45pm
- Tuesday 15 September: 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Wednesday 16 September: 7:30am - 4:00pm
* Please note: Welcome Drinks will be held from 5:30pm - 6:30pm on Sunday 13 September. The conference opening commences at 8:45am on Monday 14 September.
Speaker Support
Speaker Support will be located in the Main Entrance Foyer and will be open as follows:
- Sunday 13 September: 2:30pm - 6:00pm
- Monday 14 September: 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Tuesday 15 September: 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Wednesday 16 September: 7:30am - 3:00pm
* Presenters are asked to upload their presentation at Speaker Support well in advance of their session.
Conference Program
The conference program has been updated several times, so please ensure you are referring to the latest version when planning your attendance.

The program has been designed to be print-friendly. If you prefer to use a hard copy during the conference, we encourage you to download, print and bring the latest version with you.
Please note, the conference opening commences at 8:45am Monday 14 September 2026.
Conference E-Abstract Book
The CleanUp 2026 Abstract Book is available electronically.
Access the e-Abstract book here to view presentation overviews before and during the conference.
Workshops
Workshops are being held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Sunday 13 September, Monday 14 September and Thursday 17 September, including full-day, half-day and evening sessions.
Important Information for Presenters
- Please refer to the conference program schedule to confirm the time and allocated room for your presentation.
- All session rooms will be equipped with standard AV facilities, including a laptop, projector, screen and microphone.
- The preferred presentation format is PowerPoint (16:9 widescreen aspect ratio). Please bring your presentation on a USB, clearly labelled with your last/family name.
- PowerPoint Template can be downloaded from the presentation instruction page. Please note that use of this template is optional.
- Presentations must be uploaded to the venue system by an AV technician in Speaker Support. We recommend uploading your presentation with speaker support well in advance of your session.
- Your slides will be networked to the room you are presenting in and available on the desktop when standing at the lectern to present.
- If you are using a Mac or have special technical requirements, please consult with the AV technicians in Speaker Support for assistance.
- We also encourage all presenters to meet the Session Chairs in the session room 10 minutes before the session begins to ensure a smooth start.

For Poster Presenters
- Your poster will be displayed for the duration of the conference. Please refer to the latest program to confirm your poster number.
- Your poster number will be displayed on the poster boards located in Hall L. Delegates will be able to view posters throughout the conference program.
- The poster presentation session is scheduled for 5:45pm - 6:45pm on Monday 14 September. All poster presenters are required to stand alongside their poster during this session.
- Poster presenters must print and bring their own A0 portrait poster to the venue. A0 portrait size is 841mm wide × 1189mm high. Please ensure your poster does not exceed 841mm in width.
- Velcro will be available on request from the Registration Desk.
- Posters can be set up from 8:00am on Monday 14 September and must be removed after lunch on Wednesday 16 September 2026.
Social Functions
Welcome Drinks
Join us for a relaxed start to CleanUp 2026 and catch up with fellow delegates at our Welcome Drinks.
Date & Time: Sunday 13 September | 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Location: Foyer L, Adelaide Convention Centre
Inclusions: Casual drinks and light nibbles
Entry: Included for registered delegates
CleanUp Connect
Get out and explore Adelaide with fellow CleanUp 2026 delegates! CleanUp Connect is a relaxed and interactive evening designed to help you meet new people, share ideas and enjoy some of Adelaide’s local hospitality.
Delegates will head out in small groups to different pubs around the city, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow delegates through themed discussions and conversation starters.
Date & Time: Monday 14 September | Meet in Foyer M/Registration Desk at 6:30pm for a 6:45pm departure
Location: Various local pubs around Adelaide city
Inclusions: A beverage on arrival; cash bar thereafter
Entry: Pre-registered delegates only. $10 tickets can be purchased via your personalised registration confirmation link.

Date & Time: Tuesday 15 September | 6:30pm–7:00pm pre-dinner drinks, followed by dinner from 7:00pm
Location: Panorama Ballroom, Adelaide Convention Centre
Dress: Business attire is fine, but if you feel like adding some glamour, cocktail dress is encouraged!
Entry: Pre-registered delegates only. Please bring your name badge, with the dinner indicated on the back, as your ticket for entry.
Tickets: Gala Dinner tickets can be purchased via your personalised registration confirmation link.
Delegate Engagement
Conference Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for delegates. Access details will be provided at the venue.
Dietary Requirements
If you have advised the conference organisers of any special dietary requirements during registration, the information has been shared with the venue. Please identify yourself to catering staff onsite for assistance.Dress
Smart casual attire is recommended for conference sessions.
September weather in Adelaide can be cool and variable, we suggest you bring a jacket for your comfort.

Photography
Photography and filming may take place throughout CleanUp 2026 for conference, promotional and social media purposes. By attending the conference, delegates acknowledge that they may be photographed or filmed. If you have specific privacy concerns, please speak with the Conference Manager.
Final Conference Details
Payment Reminder
A friendly reminder to all delegates with outstanding registration fees; payment is required to be received in full prior to the conference commencing. Payments can be made following the payment link in your registration confirmation, or alternatively payment can be made via EFT transfer with bank details provided on your invoice.
